Take time to sit and watch the leaves turn

Driving in this morning I was racking my brain on what to write, but it hit me when I also was planning the various communications that Delivra sends to our recipients.  Here is a list of three ways you can use the season to communicate to your audience in a way that is meaningful to them:

  1. Fall Back Reminders: With Daylight Savings time “falling back” November 1st, it is great time to provide a

helpful reminder to change clocks and let everyone know they can enjoy an extra hour of sleep.  This can be a great announcement for churches, schools, retailers, or any organization where recipients might rely on a certain time.

  2. Appreciation or Thank You Email: As November approaches, Fall is always a good time to thank your customers, attendees, regular guests, etc..You can thank them for their loyalty or simply send a message letting them know you appreciate their business.
  3. Sales and Promotion Announcements: Fall is a great time for shoppers to find bargains and to prepare for their holiday shopping.  Are you taking advantage of this opportunity to bring in those extra sales?

Find creative ways to communicate to your audience and you may be surprised at how the level of engagement will increase!

As the title states, sit back, reflect on your email communications and take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.

Great ideas. Too often we forget the small stuff with clients, colleagues, and friends. We’re planning on sending blog posts via email with additional content that is customized for specific segments – cuts out on development time content wise and makes it special for the group.
